Lightning Tier Features

Lightning Tier members are entitled to entry into the Lightning Tier Quarterly Prize Giveaway, so long as individuals:

  • are Australian residents; and
  • are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (“Entrant”); and
  • make a buy, trade or sell order (“Trade”) during the “Entry Period”

Effective from March 5th 2024 up until October 1st 2024, Cointree is pleased to offer a promotional bonus of $20 AUD worth of BTC to new members who join the Lightning Tier and complete the verification process, followed by a trade valued at $20 or more within the first 14 days after verifying their Cointree account

Terms and conditions:

  1. This offer is only available for Storm fans who have signed up to Cointree using the LIGHTNING24 promo code 
  2. Only one credit of $20 worth of BTC will be given per person
  3. Multiple account creations for the same person will not be accepted..
  4. This offer is only available to new members of Cointree.
  5. The $20 worth of BTC will be credited to the member's Cointree account after they have met the necessary requirements, which includes creating a Cointree account, verifying their identification, and making a trade valued over AU$20.
  6. This offer is only valid for 14 days following the successful verification of the member's Cointree account. The first trade must be completed within this 14 day period to be eligible for the $20 worth of BTC.
  7. The amount of BTC credited will be equivalent to $20 AUD in value at the time of the eligible first trade.
  8. This offer ends on October 1st 2024, and the terms and conditions may be changed without notice.

Lightning Tier Quarterly Prize Giveaway

Terms and conditions:

  1. The Lightning Tier Quarterly Prize Giveaway (“Lightning Giveaways”) are conducted by Cointree ABN 36 167 203 303 of Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 (“Promoter”).
  2. Entry to the Lightning Tier Monthly Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
  3. ‘Lightning Giveaways’ are only open to individuals who:
    • are Australian residents; and
    • are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (“Entrant”); and
    • make a buy, trade or sell order (“Trade”) during the “Entry Period” will gain their “Entry” to the promotion; and
    • Are verified Lightning Tier Cointree members 
  5. Lightning Giveaways commence at 12:00 AM AEDT once announced via email or social promotion, and close at 11:59 PM AEDT the night prior to the advertised prize draw date (“Entry Period”). 
  6. Lightning Giveaways commence in March 2023, and are subject to end without warning at the Promoters discretion
  7. Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
  8. There is no cost to enter the Lightning Giveaway; however, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. The Promoter is not and will not be liable for any such costs.
  9. Trades must be completed during the Entry Period to be eligible. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
  10. An “Entry” will be classified as at least one entry to the draw.
  11. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare an Entry by an Entrant invalid if the Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an Entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

WINNER AND PRIZE

  1. One winner will be randomly drawn at 11:59pm AEDT the night prior to the advertised prize draw date, winning the advertised prize allocated for that period.
  2. The prize assigned to the individual will be organised for the Entrant no later than seven days after the Lightning Giveaway period.
  3. The prize winner will be chosen at random, unless specified otherwise.
  4. The account owner will be notified in writing via an email that they have won and once their prize has been applied to their Cointree account (where applicable).
  5. If the Entrant deletes the account before the winner is announced, then the prize will not be applied to their account and will be assigned to another “Entrant”.
  6. Only one prize will be awarded, not per account. If multiple accounts are created under the same person, then only one prize can be claimed.
  7. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  8. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

PRIVACY, DISCLOSURE AND CONSENT TO USE INFORMATION.

  1. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents to their personal information being entered onto a database. The Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, or payment, or other compensation to the entrant.
